Following the sentencing at Swansea Crown Court today for a breach of the Health and Safety at Work Act etc 1974, relating to the incident at Margam, Port Talbot on 3 July 2019 where colleagues Gareth Delbridge and Michael ‘Spike’ Lewis tragically lost their lives, Network Rail has issued the following statement.

Passengers travelling between Birmingham and Kidderminster are being warned of changes to services this weekend while essential track maintenance work takes place.

Vital maintenance work taking place on the railway between East Croydon and London Victoria this weekend means there will be changes to train services and extended journey times.
